Port of Wilmington NC features Cold Storage Facility

The North Carolina Ports featured an article about the USA InvestCo Cold Storage Facility on their website news section.  The article discusses the partnership between the NC Ports Authority and USA InvestCo and the recent approval of lease terms by the North Carolina Council of State.  It also includes thoughts from State Transportation Secretary Anthony J. Tata, NC Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler, and Ports Authority Acting Executive Director Jeff Miles.

NC Department of Agriculture Blog features Port of Wilmington Cold Storage

USA InvestCo’s Port of Wilmington Cold Storage project was featured on the NC Department of Agriculture Blog.  “North Carolina exports more than $3 billion worth of agricultural products each year,” said Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler. “Upgrades to the Port at Wilmington will help our farmers and agribusinesses boost that number even higher. The cold storage facility is a vital piece of infrastructure that our producers have needed for a long time, and I’m happy that a public-private partnership will be able to make it a reality.”

Governor Pat McCrory discusses the Port of Wilmington Cold Storage

Governor Pat McCrory delivered his State of the State Address this week, and highlighted the Port of Wilmington Cold Storage Project. McCrory went on to say:

Cold Storage Facility on Wilmington Port

The State has decided to move forward with a partnership with USA InvestCo to construct a cold storage facility on the Port of Wilmington, North Carolina.  USA InvestCo is currently working on plans to build the 75,000 square foot refrigerated warehouse facility with an initial construction cost of roughly $13 Million.

USA InvestCo partners with State to Create Cold Storage Facility

The North Carolina Department of Transportation released an article about USA InvestCo’s intention to construct a refrigerated warehouse facility on the Port of Wilmington.  The North Carolina Council of State voted (9 to 1) to approve a lease that gives the go-ahead to a public-private partnership seeking to construct a cold storage facility at the Port of Wilmington.

Port of Wilmington Cold Storage Facility – Greater Wilmington Business Journal

USA InvestCo has announced plans to construct the Port of Wilmington Cold Storage, a refrigerated warehouse facility on the Port of Wilmington.  USA InvestCo will be working in partnership with the North Carolina Ports Authority, Department of Transportation, Department of Commerce and Department of Agriculture. The 75,000 square foot facility will be built near the T-7 unit on the Port, and is estimated to cost $15 Million USD. The facility is expected to bring over one hundred new jobs to the area.
